Something that i would like to talk about with having to do with social networking is how much of a time waster it is. when you look at any student that is at their computer what do you see up as a tab on their browser. Either Facebook or twitter and what is that student usually complaining about that's right how they cant get this paper or presentation or power point done because they are mindlessly browsing through the social media site.but for some reason they will not get off the sight and even when they are not looking at it it just up in the back ground for no reason. this one time my friend was writing a paper and he didn't need the internet but he had his Facebook up in the back ground. Then the internet went down in the dorm and rather then then continuing on with his paper which he was actively working on he got up and left and went to the library. I asked him why he did it and he told me he want ted his Facebook up i asked him what he was doing on it and he told me "nothing i just like having it up" we have become so accustom to being on social networking. that we feel like we always need to have it there subconsciously. this means our WiFi determines where we will go to work rather than a nice quit place where we can focus.
