I would like to talk about the dangers of social networking if you are a student leader on campus. social networking is a great way of being informed and sharing your information. but if you are a student leader you need to be constantly aware when you go out. If you go to a party you need to to be aware of what is going on because with social networking a person can just pull out their phone and snap a picture of you doing something that you wouldn't want displayed to the public then with a push of a button the picture is up loaded to a site and your are tagged in it for all the world to see. and this could come back to hurt you because administrators could go in and see these pictures and you could loose your spot in the organization you are part of. you have to remember that your information is only a click away from the rest of the world in today's society. A way to avoid this is making your social media information private and only accessible to the people you choose to let see it.
